Today, June 15th 2022, marks the day of Moirai’s second single ‘Guðrún’, taken from their upcoming album ¨Blood Treasure, Woven Fates¨.
The song ‘Guðrún’ portrays a story in which the protagonist mourns the death of her husband, Sigurd, through the machinations of the valkyrie Brynhild, who was tricked by the hero into marrying the king Gunnar.
The release of Moirai’s first full lenght album is scheduled on August 5th, 2022.

Am 19. November starten wir mit dem Vorverkauf von Paysage d’Hiver’s „Im Traum“ und „Schnee“.
„Im Traum“ ist als 10“ Vinyl und Mini-CD erhältlich und beinhaltet zwei Lieder von „Im Wald“ in alternativer Form. Dazu sagt Wintherr folgendes:
„Ich habe immer schon tiefere klangliche Ebenen in der Musik von Paysage d’Hiver mit meinen inneren Ohren gehört. Bei diesen zwei Liedern von „Im Wald“ war dies besonders ausgeprägt, so habe ich spontan versucht, diese, oder zumindest einige, dieser tieferen klanglichen Ebenen zum Vorschein zu bringen.
Das Resultat überzeugt mich sehr und so möchte ich es meinen Mitwanderern nicht vorenthalten.“
Bitte beachtet, dass es sich hier nicht um neue Lieder, sondern um alternative Versionen handelt. Im modernen Musikjargon würde man sie wohl am ehesten als „Re-mixes“ bezeichnen. Unserer Meinung nach gehen sie aber sehr viel weiter als das.
„Schnee“ wird nur auf CD erhältlich sein und beinhaltet alle vier „Schnee“-Lieder diverser Split-LP’s und dem Wurzelgeister-Sampler in einer neu gemischten und neu gemasterten Version.
Zudem sind namentlich „Paysage d’Hiver“, „Kerker“, „Schattengang“ und „Winterkaelte“ wieder als A5-Digipaks erhältlich. Aufgrund dem hohen Aufwand an Handarbeit haben wir uns entschieden, diese Versionen auf 3‘000 Stück zu limitieren. Falls es danach noch eine Nachfrage geben wird, werden wir Nachpressungen in industriell gefertigten A5-Digipaks, ohne den schwarzen Briefumschlägen, anbieten.
Tomorrow, the 19th of November 2020, we will proudly start the pre^-sales of Paysage d’Hiver’s “Im Traum” and finally “Schnee”.
“Im Traum” will be available on 10” Vinyl and Mini-CD. It contains two tracks of which Wintherr states:
“I always heard more layers of sounds and melodies with my inner ears in Paysage d’Hiver, than I was actually able to put into physically hearable music. The inner ears are not bound to physical limits. With these two songs from “Im Wald”, these layers where extraordinarily strongly present, so I tried to transform at least one of these deeper layers to a physically listenable form.”
These are not new songs, but alternative versions of two songs from “Im Wald”, showing some of the deeper layers of what Paysage d’Hiver-songs actually contain.
“Schnee” will be available on CD only and contains all 4 “Schnee” tracks from the various Split-LP’s and Wurzelgeister-Vinyl-Sampler in a re-mixed and re-mastered version.
Also, there are several of the sold out CD’s available again, namely “Paysage d’Hiver”, “Kerker”, “Schattengang” and “Winterkaelte”. Due to the high amount of handcraft and effort, we decided to limit the A5-Digipaks in 500gm2 cardboard and black envelopes henceforth to 3’000 copies each, even though the initial idea was to have this version unlimited.
After these copies have been sold out and there still is a demand, the A5-Digipaks will be re-pressed in an industrially made version and without the envelope.

Am 2. April 2020 startet der Vorverkauf von der Wiederveröffentlichung der Split mit Lunar Aurora, auf Vinyl und als A5 Digibook.
Gleichzeitig wird der Vorverkauf von “Das Gletschertor” und “Das schwarze Metall-Eisen” als Split mit sich selbst auf Vinyl beginnen. Diese zwei Lieder datieren zurück auf die “Schattengang” Aufnahmen und wurden bisher nur auf einer sehr limitierten Basis veröffentlicht.
Hiervon wird es wieder eine limitierte, mit Wachs versiegelte Version geben.
Diese zwei Lieder werden auf dem A5 Digibook mit Lunar Aurora als Bonus enthalten sein.
On April 2nd the pre-order for the re-release of the split with Lunar Aurora and Paysage d’Hiver, both on vinyl and A5 digibook will start.
Also the pre-order of “Das Gletschertor” and “Das schwarze Metall-Eisen” as a split with self on vinyl will start at the same time. These two songs date back to the “Schattengang” Sessions and where only released on a very limited basis so far.
There will be a wax-sealed version available of this one.
These two songs will be included on the A5 Digibook with Lunar Aurora as bonus tracks.

Es wird am 25. Januar 2020 in Burgdorf, Schweiz eine öffentliche Anhörung von diesem Album geben. Die Anzahl Plätze ist limitiert. Wenn du bei diesem Anlass dabei sein möchtest, schick uns eine e-mail auf wissen@kunsthall.ch mit dem Betreff ‚Public Listening‘ und deinem Namen. Die teilnahme endet am 1. Dezember 2019. Später eingereichte Teilnahmeanfragen werden nicht mehr berücksichtigt.
Wir werden von den eingegangenen Anfragen nach dem Zufallsprinzip auslosen und die Glücklichen erhalten eine persönliche Einladung per E-Mail.
